How Has Your Summer Been So Far???

  060

Wow, did the last two months fly by or is it just me? 😉

I can’t believe that September is just around the corner already.

But IMO, that’s a good thing ’cause my fav season is autumn.

I hope you have all been having a wonderful summer so far. And it’s not quite over, is it? 😉

How has your weather been? It’s been a VERY dry, hot summer here in BC. 😦

I’m still busy with summer “stuff” right now but have some post ideas and reviews in the works that I hope you’ll enjoy.

I hope to be back to regular posting (and blog visiting!) in the next couple of weeks.

Have an awesome week!!!! G

Beached Ched! ;<)

This summer “Cheddie post” from the archives came to mind this morning.

So long for now and….

have a beautiful summer

I’ve got some wonderful online and offline projects on the go that are keeping me very busy these days.

So, I’ve decided to take a blog break for the next few weeks.

We are also in the process of getting ready to move by late fall, so that’s going to take up time too.

Seems that a lot of other bloggers are quiet right now, judging by the decrease in posts I’m seeing in my WP Reader.

I hope that you all have an amazing and memorable summer, in every way. 🙂

Summer’s Bounty Herb and Veggie Soup

It’s finally cooling down here in BC. Yippee!!!

I’m feeling better already! It had been hot for weeks with no rain. Very draining weather. 😦

And with the cooler  temps. I’m getting back into cooking some of my favs again, like yummy soups and homemade breads.

This is one of my favorite late summer soup recipes that incorporates lots of the garden bounty.

I hope you’ll enjoy it soon.

Here’s the link to the recipe and original post with comments.

It really is as yummy as it looks.

And IMO it’s (almost)) always the right time for soup!!! 😉 Not when it’s over 90C though LOL.

Happy Cooking.

PS: How’s your weather?
