What a fun story this was to read! 🙂
I’m a fan of cozy mysteries AND a long-time believer in holistic and herbal medicine, so when I happen to see this book on a Top 100 list recently, downloading it was a no-brainer.
This has a rather unique twist on the usual types of kindle cozy mysteries, with the main character’s occupation being a herbalist and baker.
The story moved along at a good pace, characters were believable and I liked the author’s engaging writing style as well.
The suspense kept up right to the end of the story when all was satisfyingly revealed; along with a teaser for the next book in the series that made me want to download book 2 too (which I have!).

I’ve made the end of February, my deadline for finishing my newest cookbook (print and Kindle/eBook versions):

I think I can still reach my time goal; I am on the home stretch. 😉
I don’t know why this particular book project has taken me sooooo long to complete.
But right now, I’m just focused on the fact that it IS almost complete and that’s a good thing! 🙂

New Cookbook Progress and Reviewers Needed
I’ve been working on my third cookbook for several months now and have been making slow but steady progress on this project.
This will be the second book/Ebook in the Groovy Green Kitchen series.
This one is all about yummy soups along with a selection of easy, interchangeable side dishes to go with them.
I ♥ soups so much and all year long, so this is definitely an easy topic/book project for me to take on with a lot of interest and enthusiasm!
I have had some unforeseen delays in getting this book completed (most beyond my control) but now I’m thinking that wasn’t such a bad thing after all. 😉 Summer is NOT the time to release a new soup cookbook, the fall is definitely better.
And by autumn: The Groovy Green Kitchen (Volume 2): Simply, Super, Supper Soups will definitely be a “done deal” 😉
In the meantime, I am also still promoting all my other books, including my newest one:

Can anyone help with some simple HTML code?
I am just finishing up my newest book for CreateSpace and Kindle and THIS time, I am trying to “ace” how to add some simple HTML code to my book description. I have tried over and over today to make it work, without success. 😦
If anyone can help with this, I’d be oh, so grateful!
It’s only a few paragraphs of text to do and if you are familiar with using HTML, I’m probably missing something soooo simple but I just can’t find what it is.
CreateSpace keeps prompting me to “close the b. (as in bold tag) but I’ve gone over the text several times, checked there was no spaces to remove, but it still doesn’t work.
If anyone can help, I’ll be sure to send you a free copy (print or ebook) of the book when it’s completed. I’m not going to mention the title right now but it is an inspirational book, I think a lot of my readers will enjoy! 🙂
