Searching For the Elusive…
… BLACK RIBBED TURTLENECK SWEATER! 😉
I have been searching (and searching…) online for this elusive item, this past week.
Why is a simple, basic sweater like this so hard to find?
I couldn’t even find the right style in a different color, to include a photo with this post.
So here are my must-haves for the perfect black “turtle“ 😉
- Fitted, not sloppy looking, with a fitted neck, no cowls.
- Preferably a cotton or other natural blend fabric.
- Ribbed texture throughout.
- Reasonably priced, not over $40.
- True black, not mixed colors, marled…
- Not too thick but not thin either, medium weight.
- Free or reasonable shipping charges.
If you happen to note this kind of pullover sweater online and it is at a site that ships to Canada, please let me know.
I can’t believe I am the only woman searching for a black, ribbed turtleneck right now.
And I can’t believe that I haven’t been able to find what was always considered a winter wardrobe basic, especially here in Canada. 😦
HAPPY SHOPPING AND WEEKEND!
Some Treasures from Etsy. Great gift ideas too!
One of the things about Etsy that I appreciate most is the supportive and generous ways that members interact with each other.
When it comes to being supportive, a really fun way to help out is by creating an Etsy Treasury. For those of you not familiar with all the Etsy lingo, a treasury is a collection of items from various Etsy shops that a curator puts together by way of promotion for them. I LOVE doing these! I enjoy picking out beautiful things to include in my theme-related treasuries and the interacting with other Etsy shop owners. I have been honored to have some of my sale items included in treasuries as well so this is a nice way to give back and say thank you.
If you haven’t visited Etsy already or seen what a Etsy Treasury is all about, take a look at some of these I put together recently:
I hope you enjoy the browse. 🙂
For one of a kind gifts, buy handmade this Christmas, shop Etsy!
It’s Apple Time Again!
Is there anything more delish than a fresh, tree-ripened apple? I think not. 😉
As I’ve said (again and again) I love Autumn for so many reasons.
Apples and the fall harvest of tree fruits and root veggies are a big part of why.
A favorite Apple Muffin recipe.
Recipe at end of this post. Hope you enjoy them too.
What is your favorite apple recipe? If you can, please share a link to it.
Happy Harvesting and Cooking.
