Still travelling….
My travel/moving update, posted today at My Poetic Path. Happy week and stay warm!đ

By way of an update from my earlier holiday/moving post below.
We are still âin transitâ right now but leaning towards Alberta as being our new home province, at least for now.
We had hoped to spend some time in Mexico before making a firm decision, but with all the upheaval and violence down South, it didnât seem like the right place to be, even for a visit.
My heart goes out to the people of Mexico. Itâs time for that awful cartel situation to end, once and for all. Theyâve apparently made big progress in Columbia in that regard; I hope it is Mexicoâs turn next.
I will post more when we do get settled. For now, enjoying some new places, people to meet and of course, lots of snow!!! Love it.
Stay warm and Happy February.â€

Lest We Forget
My thoughts are with the families and friends of veterans, this weekend.
And most of all, with the veterans (here and passed) who have served so proudly and given so much.
Thank you for your service and your sacrifices.

So yummy and delish!đ
I made a batch this past week to go with soup for supper. No leftovers after that.đ

These scones are absolutely delicious, melt-in-your-mouth good!!!đ
I have now tried them as a vegan-friendly version, after being inspired by a post on the popular mainstream cooking blog:  Pinoy Cookthat featured this recipe and some gorgeous photos tooâŠ.
I have included options for making them sweet or savory, vegan or not. I hope you will enjoy them too. I look forward to hearing about your results. PS Please excuse the less than pristine albeit clean, oldie but goodieâŠ. pizza pan in my âaction shotâ it actually looks worse in the photo than it is !.                         Â
