Lorraine, like I said before, if you really want to learn how to knit, find a local knitting group or check out some how to videos online to get started. It’s really not that hard if you start with beginner projects and the rewards are huge. Never say never!
I can’t imagine not knitting, it’s so relaxing. A great stress buster. I really like those fingerless gloves too. I’m thinking of making a pair but I’ve got a “fingered” pair on my winter knit list to do first. 😉

PS: Here’s an excellent tutorial about knitting gloves from Very Pink:

they can be a bit intimidating when you start but after you’ve ‘aced’ the fingers and some glove- specific techniques, it’s all repetition after that, to complete each finger and glove.
Hope this helps!
haven’t quite found my footing yet too many changes too much all the same time I’m just hanging in day to day, I did manage one scarf that\s reasonable, once
I can crochet {kind of}, but I never got the knack of knitting. Maybe I should give it another go…cuz these look SO cozy! Nice post!
These are all cool gloves. You did a great job on the ones you made. They look challenging.
you know your knitting to you is what photography is to me…nothing relaxes me more…I need a new one, I’m too rough on my stuff, gotta be more gentle
