PS: I’m taking a blog break for the rest of July. Catching up with some projects and with any luck (weather permitting) getting outside to enjoy some sun. I spend waaaaaay too much time on this computer. It’s time for a break. 🙂

Hi Lauren, Yes, the Chedster really is a gifted poet. 😉 I am enjoying my (almost) blog-free time but ya know, it’s never really that. I’m getting a lot of offline projects completed and that I am happy about. The weather has been wicked hot this week so not great for being outdoors too much. Today is cool and rainy though, a nice break.

Hi Cathy, Indeed he is. 😉 I correspond with several people in Toronto and they’ve been telling me how hot it’s been recently. I still remember the heat and humidity of my first Toronto summer. Quite a transition from the dry Prairies. But other than the weather, what a great city!!! Happy Summer back to you.

We do agree how important it is to keep up one’s feline good looks – purrfect you are!
Maybe you’d like Arthur to come and visit you…I could use abit of a break from his grooming efforts on my feline self.
He likes to get a good grip around my neck, and overdoes things quite alot, and then I find it necessary to roll him over and hold him down.
But forgive me, I’m on a tangent, when I really wanted to tell you how much we both liked this haiku, it’s always nice to see a Mr. Ched poem, or post.

Yes, the Chedster is a real stickler when it comes to grooming. He always keeps his coat clean and shiny and those foot pads, so pink! I remember when I had my “herd” of cats (4) and how they would take turns grooming each other and holding each other down when they were doing it, funny felines!
Mr. Cheddar and I both wish you all a wonderful August, it’s almost here. Mr. Cheddar is sitting on my lap right now and wanted to mention he has a new review coming up soon over at MRLR and also an important post for Veggies…re: proper kibble storage. He’s been busy with his writing it seems. Stay tuned.
