Consider the Lovely (not lowly) Lemon!

Organic lemons are always my first choice!

I did a search recently re: the benefits of lemons and in particular, drinking lemon water on a daily basis. Wow! What a vast choice of articles there was to choose from.

I’m including three that I found here:

Top 10 Benefits of Drinking Lemon Water

The Amazing Health Benefits of Drinking Lemon Water

Love Your Liver with Lemon Water

I’ve always loved lemons. Now I know it’s not just their beautiful color and fresh taste that’s great. They also have a whole variety of health benefits to offer including liver detoxification, aiding digestion, improving skin….the list goes on and on.

Another bonus,  I didn’t find any negatives or cautions about drinking lemon water either although I think that it would be important to brush your teeth after drinking lemon water, because of the acidic properties of the juice, perhaps not.

Do you enjoy lemon water as a regular part of your diet? Have you noted any particular health benefits? Do share if you have! Thank you.

Happy Squeezing! 😉

  4. Hi SandyL, Can you elaborate a bit on this? I’m interested how often you take the lemon water and what time of day…and if you don’t mind sharing, what benefits you have noticed from it?

Hi Margie, I’m not surprised, I know you are very health conscious, that’s a good thing!

Hi Joe, I agree, and it’s getting so much easier to buy organic isn’t it? Cheaper and a lot more choices!

    Happy Weekend, G 🙂

  5. I am finally back here. My husband is off this week, and we have been in and out, mostly out.
Water with lemon is refreshing, and does not have sugar! Healthwise, I am not getting lots of sugar, and citrus is a good source of vitamin C.

  6. Thanks for the heads-up Sandy. Note to self, buy MORE than the usual of organic lemons. 🙂
