My Kind of Film Festival!

Is this cool or what? Wish this festival wasn’t being held so far away. Could also be a great idea for Canada or the U.S. in the future. Perhaps there are already Veggie Film Fests in the U.S.?

Check it out at: Vegetarian Film Festival

Maybe some of you will be heading ‘down under’ in the Fall and could actually attend.  Let me know if you do, sounds great.  🙂

  1. Hey, you could start the first North American version of the Veggie Film-Fest!!! We’d all come. I’m sure the food would be amazing. That is what I always look for in any event! 😉

  2. Wow, G! I love this link.

I am a huge fan of clay animation/claymation and this one really would rock my world:

‘Harvie Krumpet’ is the biography of an ordinary man seemingly cursed with perpetual bad luck. The central message is of acceptance of differences and includes vegetarian and environmental themes also.

This short feature claymation film is written and animated by Adam Elliot and narrated by Geoffrey Rush. ‘Harvie Krumpet’ has won many awards at Film Festivals around the world, including the 2003 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.

  3. Those Aussies are just so damn progressive. Jealous.

  4. Nice post. I can’t go to the festival, but I hope to see some of these films anyways. I have been trying to find McLibel Trial, but no luck so far. That is the first one I want to see. Harvey Krumpet sounds adorable.

  5. I wish I could head there! but sadly- massive OT at work prevents me 😦
