Rooooooooooooar!!!!

Calling all creative knitters and crocheters!!!! (sorry photo no longer available, it was a goodie!)

Just received this fun photo/caption contest in my inbox this morning. Have already sent in a couple of entries myself and I’ve got Joe thinking about it too. Grand prize, $250 certificate from Lion Brand.

Check out the Lion Brand site to register for their newsletter (lots of free patterns, tips, knit ecards, Lion blogs, ย even a laugh or two in each edition)ย and start sending in those creative captions. Another great thing, you can enter as many times as you want as long as you are receiving their newsletter.ย  Rooooooooaaar….and BFN ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Funny! But too bad that the “image” of yarn arts are of gray-hairs & house coats, I wonder if the lion is so complacent because he sees what she did with the leopard (coat) that came before him! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Hi there, I agree but I think the “old-bag/hag/lady” concept of knitters and crocheters has changed drastically in the last couple of years especially. It seems that yarn crafts (and a lot of other pursuits, eg: yoga) come and go in trends and fads. The true diehard lovers of the craft(s) remain though. Ive loved to knit and crochet for a long, long time, doing yoga too for that matter, and those things don’t change.

Thanks for your comment re: Coming of Age , great feedback on that post…loved reading the excellent comments and different viewpoints, that’s what makes blogging terrific ! BFN, G ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I like it Caroline!!! I kept referring to the ugly bathrobe…one of the ones Ive sent in: ‘ man, it’s gonna be leopard nightmares for the whole week…’

Ive asked you a ??? in my newest post, inquiring minds want to know and not just mine, i’m sure.

Happy Meowmie Day from Mitz and BFN, G ๐Ÿ™‚
