If you’ve been looking for a knitting resource book to help with “going beyond the basics” check out my recent review of Debbie Stoller’s Stitch ‘N Bitch, Superstar Knitting over at My Real Life Reviews.

Thanks to the tips in this wonderful book, I finally tackled (and succeeded) at making a Fair Isle Sweater. :)

Read all the details and see photos  here.

Happy Crafting!

  1. I am trying to teach myself with YouTube videos … to get started though I just finished a scarf on a knitting loom … it will take MUCH practice for me to get those stitches beautifully even. I will make note of this one when I become a whiz at the basics. :D

  2. Hi Becca, I can’t imagine NOT being able to knit. I feel lost without a yarn craft project on the go. I tried loom knitting but didn’t like it at all, some people love it though. Give me the sticks any day! ;) Let me know how your practise progresses. It’s so worth learning.
